Hello friends, in this post I will try to explain and educate about the definition of natural textile fiber.
Natural fibers usually come from a plant, animal or mineral source. Cotton and linen are ideals of plant fibers, while silk and wool come from animal sources. Asbestos is a natural mineral fiber. Cotton is one of the best natural fibers. Cotton is gentle, strong, flame retardant, hypo-allergenic and easy to wash.
And linen is also hypo-allergenic and protects against sun radiation. It is the best known natural fabric used in the market as a natural fabric.
Another very durable yet soft fiber is wool. Wool comes from sheep, goats and even Angora rabbits. Animal fibers are protein-based. Most, with the exception of silk, come from the hair or fur of an animal.
Natural fiber is made from natural materials that have been used to make clothing for thousands of years. The strongest natural fiber in the world is silk, which is obtained from the cocoons of silk worms. Generally, natural fibers overlook to wrinkle and crease more easily than artificial fibers. This cloth also breathes more easily and respond to switch in temperature and different climates.
Fabric blends are made of different types of fibers twisted together. More than half of the fibers produced are natural fibers. This can result in an item that is easier to clean, care for or more comfortable. If it’s a hot sunny day you are better off wearing a cotton shirt than a polyester one.
